S.H.A.R.E. Pantries
The S.H.A.R.E. — Support, Health, And Resource Essentials — Pantries Project is an initiative born from the 2025 Leadership Somerset Program to address growing food insecurity in Somerset County. With over 5% of Somerset County’s population facing food insecurity, S.H.A.R.E. is meeting the moment with compassion and creativity. By partnering with schools, libraries, faith centers, youth hubs, and other public places, the project installs portable mini-pantries stocked with meals, snacks, hygiene essentials, and local resource guides — ensuring people have access to nourishment and dignity right where they already gather. Each pantry acts as a micro-hub of hope, connecting communities and reinforcing that when neighbors collaborate, resilience grows shelf by shelf, heart by heart.
